In Search of Mr. Right?
by Michael Smalley

The following is a question received from our website smalleylive.com: "I'm 24 years old, out of college and looking for love but instead of finding Mr. Right I keep getting hurt by Mr. Wrong. What is my problem?"
Well, Ms. Confused. Your problem probably comes from a lack of understanding what the right qualities are in a future husband. Too many single women out of college get stressed about their internal "marriage clock" and often settle for the first guy who shows even the slightest bit of interest.
Take your time. Come up with a list of qualities you want in a future husband. What is his personality type? What kind of family should he desire? What type of relationship to his parents do you want him to have?
Once you've made your list of qualities, go out there and look for that special person. Now keep in mind, your list should not exceed 1 page (and I'm talking about a normal piece of 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper). No one is perfect, everyone has something negative about themselves. It's going to be your job to determine if those negatives are worth living with because the positives are so incredible.
