I can't believe it's been over a month since I last updated our BLOGG!!! But I just can't keep this latest thought off our blogg, and it's about TV and the signal (and I'm not talking about a technical signal) it sends to singles about dating.

The ALCS and the NLCS were both great series down to the wire in 7th game action, but both of them were plagued with commercials for the new Fox series, SKIN. Please … help me understand the benefit, or even possible plot line, of a show about a District attorney's son and a porn king's daughter falling in love. The spots show how incredibly HOT and sexy the two young adults are under silk, on the beach, in the bedroom, etc. etc. etc.

Please listen to me very carefully, that kind of intimacy never comes without problems. You can't just live like a married couple without some major hurt entering into the relationship. One of our premises in our book is that sex before marriage can't be handled because it draws a couple too close, so close, that they can't handle the heat created and they break up. Very few people end up marrying the person they first sleep with. Most end up in devastation and hurt feelings, not to mention guilt.

LOVE is not about sex. LOVE is not about forbidden fantasies. LOVE is all about the passion created through a lifetime of commitment at all cost to the relationship and to serving each other. I'd love to see FOX produce a series about that!
